Terms & Conditions
Deposits and remaining balances
A Deposit is required in order to confirm the booking.
Deposits paid are NON-REFUNDABLE once received by CLH Limousines.
Remaining balances must be paid in full by CASH to the chauffeur at the time of first collection. Balances to be paid by cheque or card payments must be received no later than five days before date of hire. Wedding balances are due no later than one week before date of hire.
Change of Vehicle
The Company reserves the right at any time to change, replace or renew the vehicle booked. Any replacement vehicle will be of the same or higher standard to that already booked.
In the event of a breakdown or accident to the vehicle before the date of hire, CLH Limousines will make every effort to ensure that the vehicle is replaced or an alternative vehicle is made available. Where this is not acceptable to the client, or we are unable to fulfil this condition, CLH Limousines will refund any monies paid for the hire.
Damages to Limousine
Damages to any Limousine or its fixtures caused by the client, a member of their party or by inciting others shall incur a one hundred pound ‘enforced downtime’ charge; this is additional to the cost of the repairs and the loss of booked business whilst these repairs take place. CLH Limousines reserve the right to debit the full amount from the client’s credit/debit card.
A one hundred pound ‘sick’ fee shall be charged if the client or member of their party is sick inside the Limousine, plus the hourly cost of returning the Limousine to our premises for valeting. Valeting will be charged at fifty pounds per hour.
The client who books the Limousine will be responsible for the conduct of all members of their party.
The company or its representative reserves the right to refuse entry to the vehicle of any person or persons they deem as unfit. The company or its representative also reserves the right to terminate the journey if the hirer or any member of their party behaves in a manner which may be detrimental to other persons or to the vehicle and its contents. In this event no refund by the company will be given.
Cancellations are only accepted in writing and must be received by the company no later than 14 days prior to the hire date.
The chauffeur may terminate your booking if the client or any member of their party behave in a disorderly manner or, in the chauffeur’s judgement, are unfit to travel. There will be no compensation made to the client.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to complete a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, a full refund will be given. Beyond this, the company is not liable for any additional costs incurred or the loss of any monies paid by the client or party for tickets etc., for the event they are travelling to.
The contract will be cancelled for any violations of the terms above with no compensation to the client.
If the client cancels a booking within 14 days of the event, CLH Limousines reserve the right to debit the full amount from the client’s credit/debit card. Under extenuating circumstances the company may decide to take a part payment, but this would be at the discretion of CLH Limousines.
Although CLH Limousines will endeavour to meet all deadlines, the company accepts no responsibility for delays, however caused.
In compliance with the new legislation, CLH Limousines run a no smoking policy in all vehicles.
Our vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest levels, however, in the unfortunate event of a breakdown CLH Limousines cannot be held responsible. The company works closely with a group of Limousine hire companies and would make arrangements for your onward journey in a replacement Limousine. If it is not possible to do this, we will provide you with a full refund.
